Jefferson City, Missouri – The City of Jefferson and VenuWorks today announced they have entered into a new marquee multi-year naming rights agreement at the amphitheater. Effective immediately, the amphitheater formerly known as the Riverside Amphitheater, will be known as Capital Region MU Health Care Amphitheater.
“As the area’s community health system, we are extremely proud to sponsor this exciting endeavor along with our partner, MU Health Care,” says Gaspare Calvaruso, Capital Region Medical Center President. “We eagerly embraced this opportunity as we believe projects of this nature help foster a greater sense of community and we are thrilled to be a part of this one-of-a-kind project in Jefferson City.”
“We are pleased to welcome Capital Region MU Health Care as our naming rights partner at the amphitheater,” said Lynn Cannon, Executive Director. “Capital Region MU Health Care are committed local healthcare and philanthropic leaders in our area. We look forward to working together with their team to create events and memories at the amphitheater.”
In addition to the new name, integration into the venue will include a new logo, website, social media, advertising, signage, uniforms, and first aid station. Capital Region MU Health Care will have the opportunity to sponsor various onsite activations and special events during the duration of the agreement.
“We could not be more pleased to partner with Capital Region Medical Center and MU Health Care for the amphitheater. Capital Region has been a champion of bettering the Jefferson City community above and beyond medicine. Their leadership with the Historic Southside/Old Munichburg District and Neighborhood Plan and their support of Community Park improvements are testaments to their investment in our community. JC Parks is proud to have their name on this venue that will have a remarkable impact on our residents and visitors,” said Todd Spalding, Director of Parks, Recreations and Forestry.
